I offer commissions in size A4 (7"x11")  and A5 (5"x7", done in charcoal, graphite and pastel black and white. 
A high resolution photo of your pet means more details I can see and draw. If the photo is the only memory left and is not as detailed then I will still do my best to create an  accurate image of your loved pet as close to reality as possible.
Ideally a photo should not be in direct sunlight, a soft even but still plenty of lighting is much better. The photo should be taken from a right distance in order to keep the features of the animals face (horses and dogs) which tend to be warped by the wide lens. Long story short, a professional photo is ideal. If not, I will do my best to get the closest image to nature!
